How We stARted

BYOB Burgers began with two things: a passion for great food and a dream that spent years simmering before it hit the grill. Founder Blake Dunn dedicated six years to studying Business Management and Culinary Arts, building both the knowledge and skills needed to turn an idea into something real.


Along the way, Blake discovered that cooking was more than a hobby. It became a passion, and burgers quickly became his favorite canvas. Friends and family constantly looked forward to his creations, and before long, one thought kept coming back: why not share that same excitement with the community?


That idea eventually became BYOB Burgers, short for Build Your Own Burger, a place built around flavor, creativity, and enjoying food your way. After plenty of planning, hard work, and late nights, BYOB officially opened its service window on October 24th, 2025.


Since opening day, BYOB has proudly served Lubbock, Texas, and surrounding communities, bringing burgers and good experiences to every stop. More than anything, BYOB loves what it does, and the goal has always been simple: keep serving great food, keep connecting with people, and keep the grill hot for many years to come. 🍔🔥
